About the role

Location: Arlington, VA
Band- 4A/4B
Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Implement and modify Data Marts to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to troubleshoot data-related issues and enhance performance.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Snowflake for data storage, processing, and integration.
Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and best practices.
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for efficient data transformation.
Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and quality.
Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

8+ years of experience
Strong background in SQL
Data Mart implementation experience
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills
Leadership experience and ability to provide technical guidance
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines
Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Experience with Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting (preferred)
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices (preferred)
Knowledge of DevOps practices in data engineering
