About the role

  • Location: Arlington, VA
  • Band- 4A/4B
  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Implement and modify Data Marts to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to troubleshoot data-related issues and enhance performance.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Snowflake for data storage, processing, and integration.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for efficient data transformation.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and quality.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience
  • Strong background in SQL
  • Data Mart implementation experience
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills
  • Leadership experience and ability to provide technical guidance
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting (preferred)
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices (preferred)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices in data engineering
