About the role
- Identify and cultivate relationships with revenue-generating partners, including major European defense primes, system integrators, and specialized geospatial analytics firms.
- Develop and execute joint go-to-market plans with European resellers and Value-Added Service Providers (VASPs) to expand regional footprint and drive indirect sales.
- Build and manage a multi-million dollar pipeline through strategic alliances, ensuring consistent growth in the European defense and sovereign data domains.
- Act as a bridge between European partners and internal Product and Engineering teams to translate regional defense requirements into actionable product features.
- Create and deliver training, messaging, and sales enablement materials to empower partner teams to position our data products effectively.
- Maintain meticulous records of partner interactions and pipeline stages within the CRM to ensure accurate forecasting and data-driven strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships within the European defense, space, or geospatial sectors.
- Proven, active relationships with European defense primes (e.g., Airbus, Leonardo, Thales, OHB) and key agencies (e.g., FRONTEX, ESA, EUSATCEN).
- Deep familiarity with Earth Observation (EO) data, satellite analytics, and the GEOINT landscape.
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions to C-suite and government stakeholders.
- Comprehensive understanding of European defense acquisition processes, security protocols, and sovereign data requirements.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering, or a related field.
