About the role
- Participate in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual results
- Implement the local budget and forecasts
- Collaborate in the local controlling team, e.g., with a focus on operations or product management controlling
- Identify potential for increasing earnings and reducing costs
- Further develop productivity management in operations or product development areas
- Prepare standard business analyses for management
- Coordinate reporting processes, monitor reporting deadlines, create reconciliation accounts for organizational changes
- Ensure quality control over financial reporting
- Collaborate in risk management processes
- Contribute to the CO Closing process within defined group deadlines
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual MIS results
- Perform monthly financial reporting and in-depth SAP/MIS analysis supporting key Business Partners
- Take responsibility for data integrity, configuration, financial reporting, B/S & P/L account reconciliation with focus on cost tracking and accrual management
- Develop and maintain key business partner relationships with all levels of management and functional area leaders
- Provide variance analysis commentary for executive leadership
- Coordinate with external auditors in the preparation of required audit documentation
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in finance, accounting or equivalent
- Proven software skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with SAP
- Analytical thinking skills
- Good communication skills with a confident, self-assured manner
- Ability to work in a team and assertiveness
