About the role

  • Processing payroll queries from employees, including Tax code queries, SSP, SMP, SPP etc
  • Responsible for checking payrolls with the team (UK Payroll runs 9 Monthly, 2 Ireland Payrolls, 1 Weekly)
  • Participating in the administration of adding/removing employees to benefit schemes such as Dental and Medical Insurance
  • Working closely with HR Service team for monthly payroll changes, such as bonus payments, absence data, benefits deductions
  • Creating and calculating SMP and SHPP Schedules
  • Managing the Holiday absence process

Requirements

  • Strong experience in processing payroll within a small to medium size organisation
  • Detailed know-how in labour tax, social security, UK PAYE legislation and manual Payroll TAX and NI Calculations
  • Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel on a daily basis
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, being adaptable to change when needed
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of company cars and submission of P46 documents
  • Good level of education in a relevant field
