About the role
- Maintain the IT network, hardware, and software to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the curriculum and administrative functions.
- Ensure installation, maintenance, and first-line repairs of IT hardware and networks.
- Advise on the availability of IT preparing and setting up as required.
- Manage user profiles, permissions, etc.
- Ensure day-to-day maintenance and security of the ICT equipment is carried out.
- Monitor and track help desk requests within a reasonable timeframe.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering or a relevant field.
- Relevant work experience (Preferably with international schools).
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
- Multitasking and time-management skills.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology.
- Very good command of written and spoken English.
