About the role
- Own and execute the Alpine commercial plan (targets, resources, territory coverage, pricing/tenders, channel mix)
- Translate brand and access strategies into actionable go-to-market plans
- Ensure accurate forecasting, monitor market trends, and respond to competitive changes
- Lead 3MC cadences (Medical, Marketing, Market Access, Commercial) for aligned, on-time execution
- Represent the company with industry associations and key stakeholders alongside the Alpine GM
- Build a data-driven performance rhythm using CRM/SFE tools to improve coverage and effectiveness
- Demonstrate strong leadership, take ownership, and role-model integrity
- Ensure full compliance with laws, industry codes, and internal policies
Requirements
- Significant pharmaceutical sales experience (4 years minimum) with a proven track record in Austria/Switzerland
- Strong analytical and strategic skills
- Fluency in German and English (French a plus)
- Experience in ophthalmology/eye-care markets, product launches, and/or MBA or equivalent is a plus
- End-to-end accountability, owner’s mindset, ability to align stakeholders and secure resources, decisive and agile decision-making
- Ability to coach and develop teams, build engagement; strong external orientation with customers, KOLs, and policy trends
