Lead Santander’s Indirect Tax team in Dallas, TX supported by professionals in New York City and Pennsylvania
Provide indirect tax compliance and advisory services across a broad range of products and services
Work on a broad portfolio of indirect tax matters, including compliance, audit controversy and technical advice pertaining to property, sales, use and other taxes
Support delivery and oversight of indirect tax reporting requirements and technical advisory matters
Build and maintain relationships within the firm and externally with clients and 3rd party service providers
Support indirect tax projects and tax audit examinations and ensure technical excellence and a practical/business driven approach
Assist with the implementation of a dedicated risk control framework
Monitor and follow up on legislative and business developments to update systems and processes
Prepare and participate in cross-functional working groups to ensure indirect tax compliance requirements are met
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Indirect tax experience 5-7 years
Experience within the Auto field is a plus
Based in Dallas, TX
CPA Certified Public Accountant - Preferred
Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education
Highly motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team
Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral
Enthusiastic team player with ability to partner effectively with team members
Passion to learn and engage in the team
Ability to plan and prioritize work
