About the role

  • Develop the training and development function for the Business Unit, including training on disease, product, and customer interaction capabilities.
  • Responsible for the execution and deployment of training experiences.
  • Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive strategic and tactical plans to support the objectives of the Sales, Marketing, and Patient Educational Services teams.
  • Assist in the definition and development of core competencies and create tools, curriculum, and initiatives to support them.
  • Responsible for the development of classroom training programs, including customer interaction capabilities and disease and product education.
  • Manage the Product Review Board process for all sales training materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Develop field-based training programs, including mentorships and coaching.
  • Establish and implement key metrics to track and communicate the impact of sales training initiatives.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree required, preferably in life science or business.
  • MBA a plus.
  • 8+ years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience, including:
  • At least 2 years of leading national, home-office-based training.
  • Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals or biologics, with a background in infusion products, specialty pharmacy, and buy-and-bill.
  • Proven communication skills with a well-developed ability to efficiently and productively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and interact effectively with a senior leadership team and multiple key stakeholders across sales and marketing.
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management, including effective management of multiple projects/priorities.
  • Ensure that all training programs are consistent with and support the company's legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines.
  • 25-35% national travel required.
