About the role
- Define and execute the growth strategy for Automation across Southeast Asia
- Identify emerging demand, shape market pathways, and ensure capitalization on new business potential
- Support customer deployments and strengthen value propositions
- Develop dealer capability
- Lead a regional Automation team and collaborate with different stakeholders for smooth execution
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, Mining, Automation, Business, or a related field
- Significant experience (8–10+ years) in mining, tunnelling, Automation, digital systems, or similar industrial sectors
- Proven success in sales leadership, business development, or regional commercial roles
- Experience working with dealers, distributors, or multi‑country channel partners
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders across operations, service, supply chain, and commercial functions
- Strong commercial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L ownership
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; fluency in English, with SEA languages as a plus
- The ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural region
- Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia as needed
