About the role
- Independently execute and lead financial due diligence projects in the context of company acquisitions and disposals (buy-side and sell-side)
- Lead vendor assistance projects, model business plans and support project management by acting as an interface between clients, internal teams (e.g., M&A) and external stakeholders
- Provide responsible reporting to clients and internal decision-makers
- Contribute to the development and implementation of transaction strategies
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through ongoing communication and advisory services
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related field (BSc/MSc), ideally with a focus on finance
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Transaction Services/Financial Due Diligence
- Solid knowledge of the transaction environment, including balance sheet analysis and financial modelling
- Excellent proficiency with common analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel)
- Strong client orientation, excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Independent, structured and results-oriented working style
- Fluent German and English (negotiation/business level)
