About the role

  • Independently execute and lead financial due diligence projects in the context of company acquisitions and disposals (buy-side and sell-side)
  • Lead vendor assistance projects, model business plans and support project management by acting as an interface between clients, internal teams (e.g., M&A) and external stakeholders
  • Provide responsible reporting to clients and internal decision-makers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of transaction strategies
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through ongoing communication and advisory services

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related field (BSc/MSc), ideally with a focus on finance
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Transaction Services/Financial Due Diligence
  • Solid knowledge of the transaction environment, including balance sheet analysis and financial modelling
  • Excellent proficiency with common analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel)
  • Strong client orientation, excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Independent, structured and results-oriented working style
  • Fluent German and English (negotiation/business level)
