About the role

  • Serve as a key business partner across operations, GTM, Engineering, and legal by driving analysis and shaping decisions
  • Build financial models and frameworks to evaluate pricing, expansion opportunities, capacity planning, and capital efficiency
  • Establish and grow a high-performing finance function, putting in place systems and processes that scale
  • Collaborate on future fundraising efforts and be the primary finance counterpart for investors and board
  • Oversee ERP implementation
  • Collaborate with engineering to build internal tools to surface financial insights
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and clear reports and forecasts to executives and stakeholders
  • Provide analytical rigor to guide resource allocation, customer deals, partnerships, and growth bets
  • Own strategic processes such as capital planning, vendor negotiations, and customer contracts
  • Oversee daily financial operations, from expenses and payroll to invoicing and cash management
  • Ensure books are accurate, compliant, and close-ready at all times

Requirements

  • 6+ years of finance experience, ideally with startup finance, investment banking, growth equity, private equity, and/or consulting
  • Track record of building or scaling a finance function in a high-growth environment
  • Experience leading teams while staying hands-on with execution across payroll, invoicing, and board prep
  • Exceptional financial modelling skills
  • Proven ownership of a complex P&L with accountability for business outcomes
  • Familiarity with audits, internal controls, and close processes with ability to implement improvements
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain financial drivers to non-finance leaders
  • History of partnering with executives and investors, including running fundraising processes
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where strategy and execution go hand-in-hand
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
