About the role
- Maintaining and supporting all computer operations.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting computer-related issues.
- Maintain IOT(Internet of Things) equipment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Monitoring specific service alerts and performing proper remediation or escalation.
- Perform software installations, build and implement computer images for deployments.
- Maintain IT security standards in the desktop support area.
- Assist, support, and work on server system upgrades as directed.
- Understanding and ability to run network cabling.
- Active Directory and file storage administration.
- Network and email administration.
- Verbal communication and proper phone etiquette.
- Multi-tasking capabilities.
- Up to 10% of travel.
- Perform daily duties as directed.
Requirements
- Must have technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows, IOS, Android, and Linux operating systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with voice, data, applications, and anything else at a Level 1 tier.
- Customer Service experience is required.
- Computer hardware proficient.
- Basic networking knowledge of TC/IP, firewall, and basic protocols.
- Ability to create and improve technical documentation.
- Participate in the development of user training programs and recommend changes.
- Identify and escalate problems requiring escalation.
- Must be a self-starter with the desire to take initiative.
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently.
- Manufacturing systems experience a plus.
- Demonstrate outside-the-box thinking.
- Help Desk experience is a plus.
- Effective listening skills and verbal communication, maintaining proper phone etiquette.
- Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.
- Maintain safety regulations and requirements while in the factory and warehouse areas.
- COMPTIA training is a plus.
- Point of Sale(POS) experience is a plus.
- PCI Compliance experience a plus.
- Ability to work on-call, after hours and weekends.
- May be required to work non-traditional hours.
- Reliable Transportation.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily work and work with minimal supervision.
