About the role
- Manage a team of full-stack engineers to deliver customer-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment. The technology stack includes JavaScript, Vue, Python, GraphQL, and various AWS services.
- Support the growth of individual engineers on your team through mentoring/coaching and career-pathing.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to drive technical strategy.
- Set quarterly goals and balance product/engineering priorities for maximum impact
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to develop new products and enhance existing ones.
- Drive roadmapping discussions and collaborate with our partners across the organization to influence the direction of our initiatives in a manner that best serves our customers
- Perform code reviews and ensure proper design and delivery of major features
- Be hands-on and contribute to feature development
- Set a high standard for the reliability of your components

- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team
Requirements
- 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including 1+ years of direct people management experience leading a full-stack product development team.
- Understands the value of team culture, communication, and collaboration
- Experience developing individual contributors based on their needs and interests, as well as the needs of the company
- Is a technology business partner - recognizes the value in relationships with team members in and out of Engineering
