About the role

Collaborate with Product and Design to evolve and expand AI-powered coaching products across web, mobile, and API surfaces
Work closely with ML and AI engineering teams to deliver scalable, AI-driven solutions
Architect, build, test, and deliver full-stack products; solve complex problems and own the success of your solutions
Communicate, collaborate, and develop with engineers, platform/infrastructure teams, product managers, designers, and support teams
Build upon skills across technologies such as Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, and MySQL
Own the operational health of production systems and provide operational support when necessary
Make an impact on core architecture, roadmap, and the wider engineering community
Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles and participate in customer interviews and feedback loops

5+ years of experience in software development
Experience shipping features that are used by customers and iterating on customer feedback
Strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate
A growth mindset and excitement around building new skills and expertise
Quick learner and able to operate with minimum supervision
Comfortable building end-to-end solutions; preference for front-end or back-end OK but must work across the stack
Assist in maintaining the production systems your team owns and provide operational support when necessary
Utilize logs and metrics for tracking down and investigating bugs
Experience with taking LLM systems to production (preferred)
Experience in Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, and AWS is a plus
Must reside in the United States (position open to candidates residing in the US)
