About the role

  • Support multi-year and annual planning efforts through development of our sales capacity plan
  • Drive research and generate insights based on historical trends to inform investment of GTM resources
  • Lead strategic projects; structure problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analyses, and turn data into actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Samsara to build trusted relationships and connective tissue between teams
  • Guide Sales leaders through planning and strategic project outputs and support execution
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, analyses, and talking points as part of planning and strategic project work
  • Identify risks to growth goals and develop action plans to mitigate those risks
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the organization scales globally

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Strategy & Operations or other analytical role
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills; a deep sense of curiosity
  • Collaborative orientation and experience in building trusting relationships and influencing others (including executive audiences)
  • Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments; bias for action
  • Strong presentation skills, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to synthesize a broad set of information into a cohesive narrative
  • Expertise with analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Must reside in the United States (remote position open to candidates residing in the US)
  • (Ideal) Experience working with big data tools (e.g., DataBricks, BigQuery, SQL)
  • (Ideal) Experience with GTM strategy
