Own the end-to-end credit review process for the most strategic and high-value accounts, ensuring alignment with company policies and risk tolerance.
Serve as the internal subject matter expert on credit risk, providing advanced analysis and insights to Deal Desk and Sales leadership to support complex deal structures.
Proactively identify and manage high-risk scenarios, providing clear recommendations and escalating to leaders when necessary.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and elevating the quality of credit analysis across the organization.
Lead initiatives to improve the credit management process, championing and implementing solutions for automation, workflow optimization, and policy enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to develop and refine credit policies and programs that balance business growth with financial health.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all credit data by actively monitoring and managing credit tools and databases.
Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the team scales globally.
Requirements
4+ years of professional experience in credit analysis, finance, or a related role, with a proven track record of handling complex cases.
Demonstrated experience in independently managing processes and influencing stakeholders with data-driven insights.
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret financial data and credit reports.
Professional-level written and verbal fluency in English.
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal day-to-day direction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with and influence internal and external stakeholders.
Adaptability to work a flexible schedule to support global operations, including adjusting hours to provide critical coverage for regions with higher volume.
Willingness to work a rotating holiday schedule to ensure business continuity and support quarter-end financial cycles, which may conflict with local holidays.
Previous experience in the banking, lending, or financial services industries (preferred).
Experience in a SaaS or technology company (preferred).
Experience with global credit management and international financial regulations (preferred).
Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional leaders to achieve strategic objectives (preferred).
A track record of driving significant process improvements and operational efficiencies (preferred).
Salesforce and Zendesk experience (preferred).
Aptitude for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and peers (preferred).
