About the role

  • Support the Executive Board and senior management in shaping the strategy process
  • Initiate, execute and manage strategic projects with a focus on the strategic area of sustainability / decarbonization
  • Take responsibility for relevant project modules and coordinate cross-functional work in interdisciplinary project teams
  • Prepare product- and company-related emissions inventories
  • Support the preparation and implementation of regulatory requirements
  • Produce robust analyses and project reports to support the development of actionable recommendations
  • Further develop processes, methods and tools to professionalize the implementation of strategic projects and KHS-wide sustainability management

Requirements

  • University degree in industrial engineering, business, natural sciences or engineering
  • Some practical experience in project management and in an internal/external consulting environment or a comparable position
  • Solid foundational knowledge of project management and process optimization methods
  • Basic knowledge of sustainability management (ESG) is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills for structured (data-driven) problem solving of complex tasks
  • Strong communication skills in German and English – able to communicate appropriately across all hierarchy levels
  • Excellent MS Office skills; experience with SAP and common project management tools is an advantage
