About the role
- Build and maintain systems that keep the team secure, productive, and compliant.
- Provision and configure NUC computers for remote employees (US, Mexico, and India).
- Set up and maintain a Windows domain and VPN for company devices.
- Manage automated updates, security patches, and device compliance.
- Define and enforce user access levels for licensed OEM data based on project assignments.
- Monitor and maintain system security, including identity management and endpoint protection.
- Support light infrastructure projects (e.g., factory router/firewall/switch upgrades).
- Document processes and create onboarding guides for employees.
- Provide Tier 2 IT support (troubleshooting issues escalated from staff).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and VPN solutions.
- Experience with endpoint provisioning and patch management.
- Understanding of access control principles and data security best practices.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (routers, firewalls, switches).
