About the role
- Supervise the Accounts Payable function (organization, task allocation, monitoring of transaction flows)
- Ensure the reconciliation and settlement of invoices (disputes, advance payments, reminders, etc.)
- Manage monthly closings (cut-off, provisions, interfaces)
- Oversee supplier payment runs and employee expense claims
- Monitor performance through KPIs and dashboards
- Identify improvement opportunities and optimize processes
- Act as the key contact for accounting systems and participate in deployment projects
- Ensure coordination with internal teams and external partners
- Manage, support and develop the team
Requirements
- Degree in accounting (equivalent to a 2- to 5-year post-secondary qualification)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing a team
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel (essential)
- Knowledge of CODA and Basware is a plus
- Rigour, strong organizational skills and ability to manage demanding environments
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
