About the role

  • Supervise the Accounts Payable function (organization, task allocation, monitoring of transaction flows)
  • Ensure the reconciliation and settlement of invoices (disputes, advance payments, reminders, etc.)
  • Manage monthly closings (cut-off, provisions, interfaces)
  • Oversee supplier payment runs and employee expense claims
  • Monitor performance through KPIs and dashboards
  • Identify improvement opportunities and optimize processes
  • Act as the key contact for accounting systems and participate in deployment projects
  • Ensure coordination with internal teams and external partners
  • Manage, support and develop the team

Requirements

  • Degree in accounting (equivalent to a 2- to 5-year post-secondary qualification)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience managing a team
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel (essential)
  • Knowledge of CODA and Basware is a plus
  • Rigour, strong organizational skills and ability to manage demanding environments
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
