About the role
- You will be primarily working in the field, visiting restaurants and kitchens. Your mission: introduce chefs and owners to a marketplace that genuinely makes their daily work easier
- You will run roughly 10–15 meetings per week and own the entire sales cycle – from cold outreach through on-site pitches to the first order
- You will plan your week independently and work toward meeting or exceeding your targets
- You will present live demos of the Saltz app in the restaurants’ working environment and show how simple and reliable orders via Saltz are
- You will document your activities and progress in the CRM (HubSpot) so the team can leverage your insights and support you effectively
- As a senior member of the team, you will support new colleagues during onboarding, share best practices and help them become successful quickly
- You will play a key role in new city launches to help expand our presence
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales, ideally in field sales or at a fast-growing company
- Experience across the full sales process – from cold acquisition through on-site pitches to closing
- You enjoy being on the road, entering kitchens and building personal relationships with chefs and managers
- You can conduct conversations confidently, listen actively, solve problems and close deals reliably
- Experience with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot
- You work in a structured way, are self-directed and can quickly take ownership of your pipeline
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Bonus: fluent proficiency in additional languages besides German or English
