About the role
- Run day-to-day accounting for two Dutch entities (bookkeeping, AP/AR, payments, reconciliations)
- Lead month-end and year-end close with external accounting partners
- Transition accounting from outsourced to in-house
- Prepare and submit statutory filings in line with Dutch regulations
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP
- Work with product and engineering to automate and improve accounting workflows
- Support audits and act as the main finance contact for the Netherlands
Requirements
- 6–8 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP, including statutory and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end close, general ledger, and financial statements
- Ability to manage audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong ownership mindset and cross-functional collaboration skills
