About the role
- Ensure timely and accurate commission and bonus calculations on a monthly basis.
- Support the plan document auditing process, ensuring accuracy of rates and targets.
- Engage in ongoing reporting and analysis, validating payments and identifying trends or discrepancies.
- Support Operations with modeling for commission forecasting, scenario analysis, and compensation plan updates, both during the annual planning process and throughout the fiscal year.
- Maintain and streamline processes, documentation, and tools related to global commission workflows.
- Help identify opportunities to improve plans for future fiscal years based on data.
- Escalate requested exceptions through proper channels, including Finance, HR, and Sales.
- Provide cross-departmental support through ad hoc reporting or analysis as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar commissions or variable compensation role, preferably within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office products (e.g., PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with CaptivateIQ.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex and confidential data in a concise manner.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and comfort working in a rapidly changing environment.
- You must maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism, especially regarding conflict management and confidential data.
