About the role

  • Manage collect-freight inbound transportation to ensure excellence vendor’s supply chain performance
  • Manage supply chain performance such as on-time & in-full deliveries
  • Manage outbound transportation budget & activities to service store deliveries
  • Implement & Manage Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for inbound activities
  • Recruit, train, motivate, retain, and direct assigned staff
  • Act as key contact with Third party freight audit company
  • Support the annual carrier bid process; manage freight carrier scorecards
  • Maintain accurate control over all store and customer shipments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7-10 years of Transportation experience in retail or similar environment
  • Previous experience in a fast paced, high-volume organization
  • Expansive exposure and experience in contract negotiations.
  • Proficient in MS Office such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder and freight rating software
  • Experiences in analytics software such as Tableau, Power BI, Clik
