About the role

Architect a comprehensive, modern quality architecture for the Salesforce platform in the Hyperforce public cloud environment (AWS/GCP)
Lead the vision and technical direction for test automation frameworks that support CI/CD at scale
Promote shift-left practices, embedding quality gates and best practices across the software development lifecycle
Analyze system architectures to identify high-risk areas and prioritize testing efforts (risk-based test management)
Define strategy for managing test environments and test data within Hyperforce
Collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to make quality a shared responsibility
Mentor and provide guidance to quality engineers and developers on modern testing techniques and tools
Drive technical, process, and product initiatives across R&D and participate in open forums and reviews

12+ years of experience in software development and/or quality engineering
5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role within quality engineering (e.g., Test Architect or Principal Quality Engineer)
5+ years of experience working in a large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS environment
Strong programming skills in an object-oriented language such as Java or Python
Experience with Apex, Go, and Javascript is a plus
Industry-expert level understanding of quality concerns and validation techniques
Ability to design and architect large-scale quality frameworks and test automation solutions
In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP)
Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium)
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating quality gates
Experience with performance and security validation strategies
Experience driving technical decisions and influencing R&D across teams
