About the role

  • Responsibility for a key strategic account within the Retail & Consumer Goods sector, headquartered in Germany.
  • Coordinating a complex virtual team within a matrix organization to ensure one Salesforce vision, seamless customer experience and account growth.
  • Engaging with C-Level decision-makers to position Salesforce solutions through strategic value-based selling, specific visionary POV, business case definition, ROI analysis, references, and analyst data.
  • Driving significant coordination among internal groups such as Sales Engineers, Sales Specialists, Marketing, Business Development, Professional Services, Strategy Partners, Executives, and Partners to execute a cohesive account strategy.
  • Partnering with GSIs and Services to ensure the successful delivery of contracted business solutions and technical implementations.
  • Owning additional key initiatives for Salesforce Retail & Consumer Goods.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to other team members and virtual resources.

Requirements

  • Consistent track record of selling complex enterprise software or technology solutions to C-level executives within large, strategic accounts.
  • Ability to convey leadership, direction, and confidence in every interaction via adopted communication style depending on audience (such as top down for C-level).
  • Demonstrated experience in defining and executing comprehensive account strategies for complex strategic accounts including long-term vision balanced with annual quota planning.
  • Experience thriving in high-paced, high-pressure settings, coupled with the ability to execute and perform effectively under uncertainty.
  • Proven ability to design and run strategic workshops, draft compelling strategic Points of View (POVs), and orchestrate their delivery within a complex account setup.
  • A natural excitement for and strong point of view on industry trends, with a proven ability to build a compelling narrative around digital transformation within the dynamic Retail and Consumer Goods sector.
  • Ability to deliver accurate Sales forecasts and consistently achieves revenue goals.
  • Business fluency in both German and English is essential.
