About the role

  • Serve as primary editor on video projects, leading a project from creative brief to final delivery while meeting all brand guidelines and deadlines
  • Lead video post-production technical workflows including implementing best practices for data storage, asset collection, software usage and project organization
  • Work with Salesforce project leaders to receive creative briefs, respond to edit requests, and map out project timelines
  • Work with the Senior Producer to develop monthly edit calendars and workback plans to manage the project pipeline and hit multiple competing deadlines
  • Collaborate with Salesforce project leaders and the Senior Producer to contribute creative ideas for selected projects, including suggestions on editing techniques, graphic style and storytelling approaches
  • When needed, partner with outside video vendors to supplement in-house video resources, managing creative direction, review cycles and scopes
  • Build credibility, respect and partnership with project teams, stakeholders and peers globally
  • Proactively monitor the latest trends in social video, use that knowledge to suggest new styles and formats to bring to Salesforce video content
  • Collaborate with producers to share compelling narratives and examples within short-form constraints
  • Should be available to travel for on-site editing or capture at select company or industry events, 1-2 times a quarter.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on editing experience working across live-action footage and motion graphics
  • Proven ability to edit a project from start to finish without any required technical oversight and minimal story direction
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere and After Effects
  • Experience using project management and review tools like Slack, Frame.io and Google Workspace
  • Ability to provide creative direction and technical guidance during filming and productions
  • Knowledge of aspect ratios, caption placement, and platform-specific best practices
  • Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate expectations for a project and communicate the status of deadlines and edit requests
  • Understanding of video and audio capture best practices, including video framing requirements for live and remote interviews
  • Knowledge of basic audio mixing and color correction techniques via automated tools
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
  • Fast turnaround capabilities while maintaining high production quality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful short-form video content (required)
