About the role

  • Independently designs and delivers code for features of moderate scope and complexity
  • Consistently provides input and challenges the state of product, process, quality and team direction
  • Provides oversight through code and design reviews for features delivered by other developers within their scrum team
  • A subject matter expert who drives quality by surfacing areas of impact and risk
  • Verifies quality of the code delivered through manual and automated testing
  • Automates and streamlines the build, deployment, and monitoring of threat intelligence platforms and tools
  • Designs and implements scalable and reliable infrastructure to support the threat intelligence lifecycle
  • Manages and maintains the operational health of containerized applications (e.g., Docker) and the underlying infrastructure (e.g., EC2 systems)

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of backend or platform engineering experience
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong backend development skills and microservice architecture experience (Python, AWS, Kubernetes)
  • Proficient with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), IAC (Terraform/Helm), and event-driven systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
  • Experience with production services, monitoring, alerting, and observability
  • Familiarity with threat data standards a plus
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and work cross-functionally with detection, IR, and platform teams
