About the role
- Collaborate with Lead Designers to design and scale AI-driven experiences across all surfaces (Desktop, Mobile, Messaging, etc.) and user journeys.
- Look across all AI workstreams on platform-aligned with our V2MOM priorities-to identify overlapping efforts, streamline user flows, and improve design quality.
- Design clear, accessible, and consistent UX patterns that support AI features and make complex functionality approachable.
- Translate abstract AI capabilities and concepts into purposeful, user-centered design solutions.
- Contribute to and evolve our AI design system and pattern libraries (cross-cloud effort) to support cross-functional consistency.
- Partner with product, engineering, research, and content teams to bring designs to life and ensure they meet user and business goals.
- Help guide design critiques, user testing, and iteration cycle to validate and refine AI solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio of work in complex systems, platforms or AI-enhanced products.
- Proven ability to bring clarity and cohesion to large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong interaction and visual design skills, with an eye for systems thinking and scalability.
- Experience using strategic alignment tools to prioritize and align work.
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries.
- Experience designing for generative AI, LLMs, or machine learning interfaces.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and ethical considerations in AI.
- Expertise in Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems at scale.
