About the role
- Designing, implementing, and building resilient data pipelines that deliver data with measurable quality and adhere to strict SLAs
- Partnering with data architects, domain experts, and analysts to create a trusted, well-understood data foundation that enables self-service analytics and aligns with business strategy
- Taking full ownership of the data lifecycle by creating clear documentation for data pipelines and establishing data lineage
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building large-scale data platforms
- Proven expertise in Big Data technologies, including Spark , Trino , Iceberg , and the Hadoop framework
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Python or Java
- Hands-on experience with core AWS data services ( S3, Glue, Lambda, SQS )
- Demonstrated knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and practices
- Expert-level SQL skills and a solid background in data modeling
