Ensure government security programs comply with NISPOM and ICD.
Serve as primary liaison for security clearance matters and guide personnel through clearance processes.
Prepare nomination packages, review SF86s, e-QIP submissions, and handle fingerprinting.
Perform visit certifications, badge issuing/renewal, foreign travel and reporting obligations.
Maintain security clearance records and conduct security prescreening for new hires.
Administer industrial security programs and support self-inspections and government audits.
Identify security deficiencies, investigate and report violations and incidents.
Support logical and physical access control, visitor management, and daily SCIF operations.
Respond to alarms and emergencies (on-call) and maintain security documentation and logs.
Assist in developing programs, trainings, dashboards, and provide reports to senior management.
Requirements
Must hold a current Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
At least 3 years of experience as a CSSO or Facility Security Officer.
Must have or be able to attain the FSO certification.
Knowledge of security databases and systems, including DISS, NISS, eQIP, eAPP, and similar.
Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
A deep understanding of Industrial Security regulations from the Intelligence Community, DoD, and Civilian Agencies.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.
