About the role
- Provide leadership and training support to Operations Senior Leaders within assigned geographic area
- Drive sales and profitability, minimize expenses, and improve productivity within the region
- Serve as subject matter expert focused on operational procedures, policies, controls and business effectiveness
- Develop strategies to increase efficiency and improve profitability and lead cross-functional partnerships
- Coach stores on core KPIs and assist in development of action plans to improve execution
- Ensure stores execute company operational standards and monitor operational KPIs
- Act as first point of contact for General Managers, Store Directors and Director of Operations leaders for operational concerns
- Deliver operational overviews to RVPs and identify stores needing development
- Partner with Home Office Shared Services and Corporate Asset Protection on processes like dock-to-floor, shortage action plans, and physical inventory
- Enforce compliance with Store Audit standards and ensure building maintenance and cleanliness
- Coordinate implementation of new store system changes and provide input on revisions to operations manuals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or commensurate retail experience
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Store Operations as a High-Volume Store Manager or retail operations
- Dynamic, high-energy individuals able to demonstrate outstanding leadership competencies
- Self-starter with consistent clear communication skills (written and oral)
- Superior analytical skills with ability to recommend solutions
- Superior organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Able to work effectively in multi-store environment
- Ability to work with all levels of organization to build partnerships
