About the role
- Sell SailPoint's Identity Security Solution to qualified prospects
- Exceed revenue quota goals quarterly and yearly
- Strategically engage with customers and business partners
- Collaborate with marketing for marketing plan execution
- Pursue all leads and ensure internal systems are updated
- Demonstrate SailPoint's advantages to the customer
- Follow-up with post-sale teams for ongoing account coverage
- Effectively manage discussions across all levels of a customer’s organization
- Meet monthly and quarterly milestones for customer engagement, pipeline growth, account planning, and marketing plans
- Establish stakeholder maps for key partners and connect with them
Requirements
- Skilled communicator in first engagements and discovery calls analyzing the prospects needs to qualify an opportunity
- Highly proficient in understanding and presenting the value of SailPoint solutions
- Superior customer experience from the first discovery call
- Ability to leverage skills in competitively positioning our solutions and a broader value proposition
- Ability to lead a virtual team of partner resources, presales, partner manager, deal desk, professional services, BVA team, and customer success to deliver sales wins and customer success
- Ability to create a territory or opportunity plan
- Ability to develop business plans aligning to the assigned territory
- Experience in effectively addressing customer inquiries with tailored solutions
- Ability to collaborate with marketing to develop and execute marketing plans
- Ability to own and oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and closing process
- Must understand and communicate all product and technological strategies employed by competitive and complimentary organizations in the SailPoint market space
