About the role

  • Sell SailPoint's Identity Security Solution to qualified prospects
  • Exceed revenue quota goals quarterly and yearly
  • Strategically engage with customers and business partners
  • Collaborate with marketing for marketing plan execution
  • Pursue all leads and ensure internal systems are updated
  • Demonstrate SailPoint's advantages to the customer
  • Follow-up with post-sale teams for ongoing account coverage
  • Effectively manage discussions across all levels of a customer’s organization
  • Meet monthly and quarterly milestones for customer engagement, pipeline growth, account planning, and marketing plans
  • Establish stakeholder maps for key partners and connect with them

Requirements

  • Skilled communicator in first engagements and discovery calls analyzing the prospects needs to qualify an opportunity
  • Highly proficient in understanding and presenting the value of SailPoint solutions
  • Superior customer experience from the first discovery call
  • Ability to leverage skills in competitively positioning our solutions and a broader value proposition
  • Ability to lead a virtual team of partner resources, presales, partner manager, deal desk, professional services, BVA team, and customer success to deliver sales wins and customer success
  • Ability to create a territory or opportunity plan
  • Ability to develop business plans aligning to the assigned territory
  • Experience in effectively addressing customer inquiries with tailored solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with marketing to develop and execute marketing plans
  • Ability to own and oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and closing process
  • Must understand and communicate all product and technological strategies employed by competitive and complimentary organizations in the SailPoint market space
