About the role
- The Sales Director is responsible for creating services pipeline and converting partner-sourced opportunities into strategic implementation engagements that support Said Differently’s revenue growth.
- This role works closely with platform partners such as Adobe, Shopify, BigCommerce, and other digital experience ecosystem providers to position Said Differently as a trusted implementation partner.
- The Sales Director leads the consultative sales process from initial discovery through contract close, shaping services engagements that align client needs with Said Differently’s strategy, creative, and technical capabilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with platform partner sales teams including Adobe, Shopify, Odoo, BigCommerce, and other digital experience platform providers.
- Generate qualified opportunities through a variety of business development strategies in partnership with our internal BDR (Business Development Representative) team.
- Lead sales engagements originating through Adobe referrals or partner-led introductions.
- Guide prospective clients through discovery, solution definition, and proposal development.
- Establish trusted relationships with prospective clients and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Alliances Director and CRO to align on Adobe partner strategy, account planning, and co-selling opportunities.
- Ensure closed work transitions smoothly into delivery by establishing clear expectations, documenting discovery insights, and facilitating strong handoffs between sales and delivery teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling digital consulting, implementation services, or enterprise technology solutions
- Experience working within the Adobe partner ecosystem or selling services related to Adobe Experience Cloud platforms strongly preferred
- Experience selling digital consulting or implementation services tied to major digital platforms such as: Adobe Experience Cloud, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, Odoo and other ISV partners.
- Established relationships with Adobe Account Executives, Partner Managers, or enterprise platform sellers is highly desirable
- Experience shaping and closing complex professional services engagements involving strategy, design, or implementation
- Background working within a digital consultancy, implementation partner, or agency environment preferred
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Commerce, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or related technologies is a plus
- Comfort operating in a remote-first environment with distributed teams.
