About the role

  • Partners with senior leaders across all corporate functions to provide strategic advice.
  • Provides expert recommendations, counsel, and coaching on employee-related issues.
  • Anticipates labor/employee relations issues and provides counsel to resolve them.
  • Plays a critical role in building organizational bench strength through strategic identification and development of talent.
  • Acts as a strategic advisor to executive and senior leadership teams.
  • Leads workforce planning and succession planning efforts.
  • Drives large-scale change initiatives, including restructures and cultural transformation.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and mitigates organizational risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University or equivalent education and work experience required.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ human resources experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience in a union work environment preferred, but not required.
  • Experience managing and developing a team of HR direct reports.
