About the role
- Direct inbound and outbound inventory of food, beverage, equipment, and supplies to ensure proper storage, rotation, and utilization
- Create, process, and manage purchasing requests, purchase orders, invoices, and financial reconciliation in accordance with company procedures
- Track, reconcile, and manage inventory levels to minimize out-of-stocks, spoilage, shrinkage, and excess inventory
- Conduct and oversee monthly inventory counts using Legends-approved systems
- Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and operational standards
- Communicate proactively with Food & Beverage and Culinary leadership regarding shortages, substitutions, delays, or product changes
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and equipment
- Evaluate vendor performance related to quality, pricing, and service levels; support contract and pricing reviews as directed
- Partner with Culinary and F&B leadership to align purchasing with menus, forecasts, and event schedules
- Ensure compliance with food safety, storage, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records including inventory logs, vendor documentation, pricing files, and warehouse asset inventories
- Promote safe work practices and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Support event readiness through proper staging, distribution, and replenishment of inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in supply chain, business, or hospitality preferred
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, warehouse, or inventory management
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an arena, stadium, or large-venue environment
- Prior experience with inventory distribution and warehouse operations
- Working knowledge of food production, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
- Strong computer proficiency, including inventory systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with inventory management and food service management systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
