About the role
- effectively and profitably managing the overall operations of the Premium Suite and Catering Operations
- direct, implement and maintain a guest service and management philosophy
- develop and maintain premium menus to adapt to the ever-changing market
- work directly with team specific representatives for teams and point of contact for Front Office, Subcontractors, Ownership, Visiting Teams, Media and League Executives
- build and maintain strong relationships with multi-year premium suite holders, booked gate catering events, VIP Mesa and Ledge guests, and Individual Game Rentals for 50 games and concerts a year
- coordinate menus, develop wine lists, handle guest relations and monitor adherence to quality assurance standards
- conducting meetings to update staff on daily goals & objectives
- provide efficient service and quality products by maintaining positive customer and client relations
- maintain cost as it pertains to labor and operating supplies, work within budgeted guidelines
- assist the General Manager with the preparation of the annual fiscal budget and business plan for the upcoming season
- oversee departmental midyear and end of the year reports
- ensure equipment is in proper operational condition and cleaned on a regular basis
- maintain staff and ensure proper hiring and promoting of associates per Legends Hospitality Standards
- take billing information and collect credit cards on suites
- daily communication with clients on booked spaces and verifying orders, menus and packages prior to events
- print menu cards, menu labels, expo food to suites
- verify suites and gates are cold set pre-event and hot set day of event
- support other Denver venues premium spaces
- perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- minimum of 3-5 years management experience in the contract food-service industry, preferably in premium services, catering and concessions environment for a sports and entertainment venue
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
- strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills
- knowledge of accounting policy and procedures and POS Systems
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Triple Seat catering software
