About the role

  • Handling day-to-day accounting and reporting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Responsible for Monthly and yearly closing, financial statements, monthly MIS, and Adhoc reports.
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Indian GAAP.
  • Managing general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and closing processes.
  • Coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Support to Accounts payable and receivable function including booking of invoices.
  • Ensure TDS deduction as per provision of Income tax.
  • To ensure to claim the GST Input Tax Credit while booking invoices.
  • Identify process improvements and support implementation of financial systems and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and HR.
  • Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany reconciliations.

Requirements

  • CA/CWA Intermediate or Bachelor/master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.) and related financial modules.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IGAAP, IFRS), financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English, with the ability to present complex financial and technical concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and compliances.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is added advantage.
  • Experience working within the manufacturing sector is preferred, with an understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and production accounting.
