About the role

  • Cover all aspects of consulting, including presales and supporting the sales team
  • Provide expertise and in-depth knowledge of the D365 BC application
  • Evaluate customers’ business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality
  • Work collaboratively with customer stakeholders
  • Document business requirements
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and design and configure data migration strategies
  • Collaborate, manage, and lead meetings with technical consultants and client/end users
  • Provide onsite and offsite consulting services
  • Proactively identify, analyse, and respond to issues and risks
  • Foster teamwork and mentor and train consultants on best practices
  • Design project schedules and set timelines
  • Liaise with product vendors on any issues relevant to customers or the company’s services
  • Manage end-to-end project coordination and take responsibility for successful project completion
  • Keep up to date with new D365 features
  • Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC)
  • Strong experience delivering large, complex technology projects
  • Excellent knowledge of core D365 BC functionality
  • Experience with setup, configuration, implementation, enhancements, integration, and testing of D365 BC solutions
  • Experience designing and creating test scenarios, functional test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Experience using Azure DevOps and other test management tools
  • Strong requirements gathering skills
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology or an equivalent professional qualification
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are strongly preferred
  • Project Management certification is highly desirable.
