About the role
- Oversee the governance of high-impact programs, ensuring value delivery, transparency, risk management, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Define and refine program standards for reporting, KPI development, escalation, tooling, etc.
- Provide visionary leadership for the project and program management function.
- Engage directly with senior stakeholders to refine program strategies, foster strategic alignment, and ensure effective communication of progress and challenges.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams to pursue opportunities for strategic impact and operational efficiencies.
- Mentor and develop project managers and team members.
- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and systems across the organization.
- Innovate and implement best practices in project and program management.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 years in project/program management.
- Proven experience in defining and implementing governance frameworks, delivery standards, and compliance mechanisms across various delivery methodologies including Agile and hybrid.
- Extensive experience working in a matrixed environment and building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
- Ability to make informed, strategic decisions with minimal oversight.
- Proven track record of leading change initiatives.
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret delivery data and ensure governance alignment.
- Strong aptitude for managing and resolving conflicts with strategic diplomacy.
