About the role

  • Drive business growth of our Scorecards & Analytical Services across the Greater China by identifying new opportunities and actively engaging in the sales process
  • Deliver credit risk management services to clients including scorecard implementation, credit risk analysis, and risk advisory
  • Engage directly with clients and provides credit analytical support and training to clients, working directly with risk managers and senior stakeholders to solve complex credit risk challenges
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to top-tier financial institutions, offering technical expertise in credit risk analysis and industry best practices
  • Lead product new developments and enhancements to address regional markets and regulatory needs
  • Contribute to thought leadership and business development through market research, white paper, and industry presentations that position S&P Global Market Intelligence as the premier risk analytics partner

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields
  • Minimum of six years of relevant experience in Corporate or Infrastructure credit risk analysis (rating agency, large bank, investing institution) and/or financial risk advisory experiences (big consulting firms)
  • Strong industry knowledge in banking risk management and regulatory frameworks (Basel III/IV, local regulatory requirements)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis and model development
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with clients across Greater China markets
