About the role
- Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins with a focus on SoX compliance, quality gates and required approval processes.

- Automate repetitive manual tasks in the deployment process using Salesforce CLI (SFDX).
- Manage a complex environment hub, including Sandbox refreshes and Scratch Org allocations.
- Implement and enforce Source-Driven Development (Git-flow) as the "source of truth" rather than the Org itself.

- Integrate automated testing tools (e.g., ApexUnit, Selenium, Copado Robotic Testing, or Provar) into the deployment pipeline.
- Configure static code analysis tools like PMD, Checkmarx, or Sonarqube to enforce coding standards.
- Maintain documentation for release processes, branching strategies, and environment maps.
- Prepare release notes and communicate release status to stakeholders and project teams.
- Monitor deployment health and performance.
- Perform root cause analysis for deployment failures and implement long-term fixes.
- Manage Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, and backup/recovery strategies (e.g., OwnBackup).
- Work closely with project teams to resolve build problems and merge conflicts.
