About the role

  • Scaling AWS: Help manage our primary cloud network infrastructure in AWS, including VPC sizing, Transit Gateway, R53, and Direct Connect.
  • Multi-Cloud Access: Ensure seamless, secure network access across AWS, Azure, and GCP footprints.
  • Infrastructure as Code: We use Terraform to manage our infrastructure, so you should be comfortable building through code rather than manual clicks.
  • Security: Protect our traffic using WAF and Firewall Manager. Help us explore new technologies such as Lattice and other service-based network constructs.
  • Practical Problem Solving: We value experience and wisdom from roughly 5–8 years of practical experience over theoretical certifications.

Requirements

  • Must have foundational knowledge of traditional networking (switching, routing, BGP, ACLs, etc.)
  • Ability to operate effectively in a multi-vendor environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS Networking, primarily managed through Terraform.
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure and GCP.
  • Real world experience with large cloud deployments supporting Internet delivered products.
Benefits
  • Health & Wellness: Health care coverage designed for the mind and body.
  • Flexible Downtime: Generous time off helps keep you energized for your time on.
  • Continuous Learning: Access a wealth of resources to grow your career and learn valuable new skills.
  • Invest in Your Future: Secure your financial future through competitive pay, retirement planning, a continuing education program with a company-matched student loan contribution, and financial wellness programs.
  • Family Friendly Perks: It’s not just about you. S&P Global has perks for your partners and little ones, too, with some best-in class benefits for families.
  • Beyond the Basics: From retail discounts to referral incentive awards—small perks can make a big difference.
