About the role
- Support the development and productization of Climate or Nature analytics and models.
- Capture and prioritize requirements that contribute to the product vision, platform roadmap, and go-to-market strategy.
- Translate requirements into features, user stories, product requirement documents and other product collaterals for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with product managers and project managers to develop or enhance products and ensure timely product delivery.
- Work with technology, research, and data teams to ensure the highest quality products.
- Maintain and address product quality to support best-in-class product performance and reliance.
- Conduct market research and analysis to better understand climate and nature markets and how products can meet market needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of Product Management or similar experience.
- Experience working within the Agile product development framework and experience working with technical teams such as engineering, data science and data management.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a track record of delivering results on tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust among a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Track record of collaborating across global teams and with multiple functional roles, including technology, data, commercial, and management.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- An understanding of the different delivery channels for SPGI products is preferred.
- Experience in the sustainability market or has demonstrated curiosity in SPGI’s sustainability products and solutions.
- Experience or interest in using GenAI tools to improve a product or optimize workflows is highly valued.
- Working knowledge of or experience with technical tools such as PowerBI or languages including but not limited to SQL, Python, R is a plus but not essential.
