About the role
- Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes platforms on Amazon EKS , supporting multiple teams and workloads at scale.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to ensure secure, repeatable, and auditable environments.
- Build and improve CI/CD and GitOps workflows(argoCD) , enabling reliable application delivery with strong security and compliance guardrails.
- Implement platform-level observability, reliability, and cost optimization practices across clusters and environments.
- Grow as a senior platform engineer by owning critical platform components, contributing to architectural decisions, and influencing DevOps best practices globally.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support coverage for production incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience managing container platforms and cloud infrastructure
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with AWS EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments
- Strong experience with AWS EKS - cluster management, node groups, networking, security, and troubleshooting
- Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure as code and infrastructure automation
- Expertise in GitHub Actions for building CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Git proficiency including branching strategies, code reviews, and version control best practices
- Experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management
- Knowledge of ArgoCD or other GitOps tools for continuous delivery
- Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability
- Exposure to GenAI technologies and their integration with cloud platforms
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation to provide extended hours support coverage.
