About the role
- Engineer II Quality Engineering (Salesforce)
- The Salesforce development team within Carfax of S&P Mobility is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet business needs and improve user experiences.
- The team thrives on collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation, often working cross-functionally to deliver high-impact features.
- Create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases.
- Ensure User Story Acceptance Criteria are tested to meet the highest software quality within scheduled timelines
- Communicate with development and project management.
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
Requirements
- Overall 4-6 years of experience in Testing
- 4+ years of experience in Salesforce manual testing with relevant Automation Experience
- Thorough understanding of business requirement gathering
- Breaking the application/system through valid use cases and testing
- Needs to have a thorough knowledge of End to End Functional Testing, Manual Testing, Regression testing
- Write and execute test cases across the Salesforce clouds – preferably Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
- Create Test Plans and Test cases for new and existing features with a detailed approach to testing, scheduling, and test exit criteria
- Create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases.
- Ensure User Story Acceptance Criteria are tested to meet the highest software quality within scheduled timelines
- Must know about Data Loader to insert, update, and bulk import or export of data from Salesforce.com Objects
- Proficient in working on Integration testing, Cross browser testing, Mobile testing, Translation testing
- Participate in defect triage meetings
- Experience in Automation Testing, at least worked on some project for writing test scripts.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum QA environment.
- Experience in REST-API Testing
- Familiarity with programming script languages like python
- Experience on Copado Automation will be preferred
- Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
- Communicate with development and project management.
- Develop, document, and maintain test cases including data, and scripts used.
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
- Strong communication skills
- Strong skills in independently driving complex projects
- Good hands-on in the Agile process
- Should be flexible and adaptable to complex situations.
- Maintain overlapping hours with US work hours to collaborate with client.
