About the role

  • Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring high usability and performance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into technical solutions, and deliver impactful analytics products.
  • Design and implement robust data models, DAX calculations, and data transformations to support complex reporting needs.
  • Optimize Power BI solutions for scalability, performance, and data accuracy.
  • Integrate Power BI with various data sources (SQL databases, cloud platforms, Excel, etc.) and automate data refresh processes.
  • Document data flows, dashboard logic, and business rules for transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Support ad-hoc analytics requests and rapid prototyping for new business initiatives.
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Power BI, including advanced DAX, data modeling, and dashboard design.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience integrating Power BI with cloud data sources (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and using cloud storage services.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in analytics, with a focus on Power BI development.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and Power BI.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
