About the role

  • Contribute to a team at the forefront of ratings innovation.
  • Act as a primary analyst on new engagements and analyze other engagements based on sector experience.
  • Provide market education and discuss rating feasibility of new and innovative structures.
  • Perform rigorous analytical work, research, and credit analysis on cross-practice transactions.
  • Interact with market participants to educate stakeholders about analytical approaches.
  • Collaborate with analytic teams to provide rating solutions for complex transactions.
  • Complete the end-to-end ratings process for new issues.
  • Perform cash flow analysis and synthesize results for presentation in committees.
  • Review legal and operating documents for consistency with criteria.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in; Business, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field of analytical studies
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Financial Institutions and Structured finance industry experience focusing on ABS or credit analysis experience in funds finance within the financial services industry, including banking.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, financial models, and financial data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve non-routine problems in a timely and insightful manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines under time pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team.
  • Excellent research skills
  • Experience with cash flow modeling for esoteric assets, including triple net, data centers, private equity, transportation ABS.
