About the role
- Serve as local point of reference for routine testing and production automation
- Act as production referent for Routine Test to ensure quality of prototyping, pre-series and mass production
- Serve as local referent for automation and LabVIEW applications
- Implement technical data in ERP & PLM software
- Update documentation following production feedback
- Design and develop automation software add-ons and hardware in accordance with CE norms
- Act as back-up of Schematic Engineer for industrialization of bundles
- Work independently, demonstrate versatility, and keep up with latest technologies and regulatory developments
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in the design of electrical diagrams, preferably in the railway field
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of automation software and schematics (essential)
- Proficiency in LabVIEW considered an asset
- Strong adaptability and versatility
- Good communication skills in English
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to continuously learn
- Knowledge of power electronics or railway technology is an advantage
