About the role
- Assist clients with unclaimed property services, including voluntary disclosures and audit defense
- Research issues, reconcile databases, and complete detailed calculations
- Create positive team member experiences leading to excellent client service
- Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities
- Manage state unclaimed property audits and voluntary disclosure program reviews
- Engage and facilitate client communication
- Review and analyze client data files to identify unclaimed property liability
- Draft written reports detailing review and quantification methods
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics
- Must have at least two to four years unclaimed property consulting, state government auditing, or third-party auditing experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
