About the role

  • Assist clients with unclaimed property services, including voluntary disclosures and audit defense
  • Research issues, reconcile databases, and complete detailed calculations
  • Create positive team member experiences leading to excellent client service
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities
  • Manage state unclaimed property audits and voluntary disclosure program reviews
  • Engage and facilitate client communication
  • Review and analyze client data files to identify unclaimed property liability
  • Draft written reports detailing review and quantification methods

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics
  • Must have at least two to four years unclaimed property consulting, state government auditing, or third-party auditing experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
