About the role

  • Establish & launch the Enterprise Program Management Office, including the operating model, playbooks, governance framework, and success metrics
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of program and project managers to support enterprise initiatives
  • Establish and implement standardized project and program management methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices across the organization
  • Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide strategic programs and initiatives
  • Oversee the enterprise project portfolio to ensure appropriate resourcing and risk management
  • Monitor program performance, resolve issues, and communicate status and outcomes to senior leadership
  • Establish governance models to ensure transparency, accountability, and decision-making consistency across initiatives
  • Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into portfolio health, project performance, and resource utilization
  • Conduct regular reviews and health checks of ongoing initiatives and escalate risks or issues as appropriate
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on strategic initiative planning, prioritization, and performance
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and communication strategies to ensure organizational alignment and adoption of EPMO processes
  • Champion a culture of execution and change readiness across the enterprise

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management
  • 5+ years in a leadership role with direct management responsibility
  • Experience in building or scaling program or project portfolio office
  • Experience in managing enterprise-wide transformation or large-scale change programs
  • Strong understanding of project/program management methodologies
  • PMP, PgMP, or PfMP certification preferred
  • Ability to influence and lead through collaboration and matrixed relationships
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex information for decision-makers
  • Ability to articulate, drive, and ensure process standardization and adoption of best practices
